PartyPoker.com and Matchroom Sport are pleased to announce the line-up for the PartyPoker.com Premier League Poker Mixed Game Championship, which will take place from November 13-17 2011 at the Playboy Club London in Mayfair. This unique $25k buy-in invitational event gets underway on Sunday and is an extension to the world famous Premier League Poker format.
The 12 players taking part are:
Mike Sexton – WPT legend from the Poker Hall of Fame direct from Las Vegas.
Luke Schwartz – online bad boy ‘FullFlush1’ but will he will be allowed sandwiches in the Playboy Casino?
Matt Gianetti – direct from the November Nine, the WPT Malta champion and subject of Hellmuth man crush? Can he afford it?
Max Pescatori – the pride of Italy, where’s the bandana? He isn’t a pirate anymore.
Tony G – he wanted his Czech mate Zasko. Quiet, calming and fresh from meeting the Dutch Ralph Perry.
Jennifer Tilly – she said on CBS this week she is quitting poker. Will this be her swan song?
Sorel Mizzi – WPT high-roller champion. Love him or hate him, there’s no doubt he’s a favourite.
Andy Frankenberger – WPT Season IX Player of the Year – seemingly unstoppable?
Ben Carpenter – representing PartyPoker.com VIP’s – a loyal, consistent and winning customer.
Yevgeniy Timoshenko – likes to ride Tony G’s bike, a feared WPT World Championship winner.
Andrew Feldman – not a writer, won millions online – gets pulled over for not looking old enough to drive a sports car. UK Open winner.
James Dempsey – he’s a blonde WSOP bracelet winner and has been able to rustle up the $25k buy-in – if you can wake him.

Max Pescatori
Luke Schwartz
Matt Giannetti
Jennifer Tilly
James Dempsey

Three disciplines of poker
Sky Sports will broadcast the show in the UK which will test the line-up in three disciplines of the game – No-Limit Hold’em, Pot Limit Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha – aiming to bring games other than NLH to new audiences. The shows will then be distributed internationally. Fresh from the US, Team PartyPoker.com Pro Kara Scott will present, with Jesse May in the commentary box.
The innovative event sees two groups of six players aiming to make the top three in the group to reach the final, where each player will be guaranteed prize money and the winner also gets invited to the main-event of the WPT Premier League Poker in 2012.
Points System and Double-Up Card
The two groups play three heats covering each discipline with a points system determining the final standings – the top three players will progress to the final which will be a mix of the three disciplines from the heat stage. In a twist, each player receives a “double up” card that they can use in any of their three heats and receive double points for their efforts, adding another tactical edge to the League where play adapted to league circumstance is a must.
You will be able to follow the progress of the tournament at www.partypoker.com/blog from Sunday 13th November at 7pm (GMT).
