Tony Dunst and Marvin Rettenmaier lead WPT Carribean final table

Seat 1: Tony Dunst – 1,418,000
In addition to his hosting duties as the voice of the Raw Deal on the World Poker Tour television show Tony Dunst is a distinguished professional poker player. He is also the chip leader at today’s final table with 1,418,000. Dunst is 29 years old and he is originally from Wisconsin. His career earnings stand at nearly $900,000 and he currently lives in Las Vegas. Tony’s largest single cash came at the Bellagio Cup IV in 2008 when he won a $3,000 no-limit hold’em event and took home $193,720. With his combination of talent, experience, and a good amount of chips to work with Tony is the favorite to walk away with his first WPT title here in the Caribbean.

Seat 2: Giacomo Fundaro – 458,000
Giacomo Fundaro is a pro poker player from Italy who is 27 years old. He took home the tournament title at WPT Mazagan one year ago. He has over half a million in career earnings. His biggest score is undoubtedly his victory in Mazagan. He took home $166,704 for that win and he could nearly match that total today. He will have to put in some work to do so with the second smallest chip count but he has WPT final table experience on his side. Giacomo has found success in this region before with cashes in the Bahamas and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Seat 3: Zoltan Purak – 324,000
Zoltan Purak is a manager and stock trader from Salzburg, Austria. He is 29 years old and was born in Budapest, Hungary. Zoltan has booked just over $179,000 and his largest cash ($84,740) was achieved in the nearby Bahamas. He works as a manager and stock trader and despite playing a handful of WPT events he has made the final table here in St. Maarten. Zoltan will need a good run of cards today considering he enters the final table as the short stack.

Seat 4: Marvin Rettenmaier – 1,046,000
You would be hard pressed to find a more successful poker player in the last few years than Marvin Rettenmaier from Stuttgart, Germany. The 27-year-old poker professional has won back-to-back WPT events and he holds $4.5 million in career earnings. He won the WPT World Championship to end Season X and was awarded $1,196,858. He then kicked off Season XI on the WPT schedule with a victory at the WPT Merit Cyprus Classic, good for another $287,784. Needless to say, “Mad” Marvin is a dangerous player at today’s final table, even more so considering he has over a million in chips to with under the Caribbean sun.

Seat 5: Robbie Bakker – 1,069,000
Robbie Bakker is a 30-year-old poker pro born and raised in Amsterdam. He is technically on home soil considering that this side of the St. Maarten island is a Dutch territory and we will see if the pseudo-home-court-advantage is a benefit to him at today’s final table. He has a good amount of chips to work with holding just over a million at the start of play. Robbie has been playing poker as a pro for two years now and he has $42,000 in career earnings. All of his previous cashes were booked in the Netherlands.

Seat 6: Severin Schleser – 1,416,000
Severin Schleser is a 23-year-old student from Vienna. He recently acquired a degree in Business Administration. Severin has been playing poker for five years and he has close to $89,000 in career earnings. He will need to take second today to double his career winnings and he looks like a favorite to do so considering he is in second chip-position. Severin was the first player in the tournament to hold a million in chips and he has played his big stack well to advance to the final day of the tournament
